Unusual and interesting items are always found at the Antique Markets in Italy. Large selections of furniture, garden ornaments, architecural remnants like fireplaces, stained glass windows, wrought iron gates and window grills, as well as smaller items like paintings, light fixtures and all types of antique coins and jewelry can be found at each market.

Listed below is the general schedule of the markets and their respective cities. Please remember that some holidays will change the schedules slightly.

TUSCANY ANTIQUE MARKETS

Arezzo, city center. Held the first Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Cortona

Florence, Piazza dei Ciompi. Held the last Sunday of the month.

Lucca, Via del Battistero. Held the third Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Pisa, Loggia dei Banchi. Held the second Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Siena, Piazza del Mercato. Held the third Sunday of each month and specializes in stamps and coins.

UMBRIA ANTIQUE MARKETS

National Antique Show and Market

Assisi from 4/21/2001 to 15/1/2001

North Campello sul Clitunno (Between Spoleto and Foligno), Located at small township of Pissignano. Held the first Sunday of each month.

Passignano sul Trasimeno, city center. Held the third Sunday of each month.

Antique show of the City of Perugia from 10/28/2001 to 11/5/2001

This young but now famous event was founded in 1987. Exhibitors include Italian and foreign antique dealers who bring rare items and numerous works of art to Perugia.

Perugia, Rocca Paolina e Giardini Carducci. Held the last Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Spoleto, city center. Held the second Sunday of each month.

Todi, Piazza del Popolo. Held the second Sunday of each month.Italian Antique Show

Todi from 4/15/2001 to 5/1/2001

The show is held in the magnificent halls of the Palazzo delle Aste, in the very heart of the city, and the most prestigious Italian antique dealers participate. The items on display include furniture, paintings, carpets, and antique bronze and ceramic works. Many of these works are rare and extremely valuable.

National Antique Show

Todi from 9/18/2001 to 10/17/2001

Craftsmen from all over Italy participate in this show, which was founded in 1977 and is held in the Palazzo delle Arti. The starring role is naturally reserved for Umbrian crafts particularly furniture, ceramics, jewelry, wrought iron, hand-loomed fabric, embroidery, copper and brass items. Lastly, each year there is a special focus on the crafts from a different region.
